Policy When Sales or Use Tax Remittance Due Date Falls on Saturday, Sunday, or State Legal Holiday
K.S.A. 2009 Supp. 79-3607 prescribes the due dates for sales or use tax returns and remittances. When the due date for the payment of sales or use tax falls on a Saturday, Sunday or State of Kansas legal holiday, the payment, including any related payment voucher information, is due on the next succeeding business day.
This revenue ruling states the Department’s existing policy.
