45-304b. Veto after adjournment; reconsideration. The governor may veto any bill or item of appropriation within the time specified in the constitution, whether the legislature has adjourned or not. Whenever the legislature adjourns sooner than the time when the governor may return any bill to its house of origin with his or her veto message thereof or an item of appropriation thereof, the concurrent resolution of adjournment shall fix a time for reconvening appropriate to permit reconsideration of any such bill or item of appropriation in case the same may be vetoed. 304b.
