Driver and Traffic Safety Education Courses
Eligible students. (a) Students in any approved program shall be regularly enrolled
in an accredited public, nonpublic, or special purpose school, or a community college. Each stu-
dent shall be at least 14 years of age prior to beginning behind-the-wheel instruction.
(b) Persons eligible to apply for a motor vehicle operator's license, who are not regularly enrolled
in an accredited school and who have not successfully completed a course in driver education,
shall be eligible to apply to enter an approved program. Adult students shall be covered by all reg-
ulations applying to other students in the approved program. (Authorized by K.S.A. 72-7514;
